The secret to a happy life is revealed by Rosalind of Ballajura, WA: Never try to control your life, or the life of others. A controlling personality will never be happy.

Content, joyful, blissful, cheerful, glad, happy, grateful, abundance?

Everyone has an idea or opinion about what are the ingredients for a happy life. Of course, no one can really know the secret to a happy life, but I find when I read what works for other people it inspires me to live a happier life. I am a tour guide, and for the past 2 years I have kept a little note book that I invite my guests to make an entry in, if they feel inspired to do so. I also ask staff at various venues we visit on tour to contribute to it from time to time. When ever I feel 'not quite right' with the world, I peruse my little book and have a ponder at the wonderful words within. The title of the little notebook is "The Secret to a Happy Life is Revealed By...."

Many of the beliefs and attitudes of these wonderful people in my little notebook resonate with me.
